Ipad air working/faulty (please read) in Lanark, South Lanarkshire for sale

Bought an Ipad air from a Facebook buy and sell, seemed to all be working until I got it home and tried to download iTunes and connect it, the PC would not recognize it, borrowed a cable from a mate and it plugged in and found it...now its asking for the owners email address and I cant get the guy on the phone or on Facebook. It works perfectly, the guy was showing me everything working when I met him I tried resetting and even phoned apple, they told me without the owners email and password they cant unlock it for me, I have tried to get a hold of the guy but despite my efforts for the past few weeks I cant. I have got a sumsung tab 3 now and don't know how to fix this, easy sort for someone in the know for something I paid £180 for. Email Text or phone (phone is better as I'm not glued to the computer for email and texting it a pest)
